About Davit

My name is Davit Varduashvili, and I have been a professional tour guide and driver across my beautiful home country of Georgia since 2014. My journey into hospitality began with a deep-rooted love for our heritage, which led me to earn my university degree in Georgian History. For me, these mountains and ancient cities aren’t just stops on a map—they are chapters of a story that I have spent my life studying and am now passionate about sharing with you.

Over the last decade, I have had the pleasure of welcoming guests from every corner of the world. My experience ranges from curated single-day excursions to immersive two-week expeditions that cover the entire country. While I am an expert in our historical sites, my true heart lies in the mountains. I specialize in mountain tours and trekking, where I can show you the rugged, untouched beauty of Georgia that most tourists never get to see.

Beyond the history and the landscapes, I believe that the best way to understand Georgia is through our traditions. I love hosting cooking masterclasses for my guests, where we can prepare authentic Georgian dishes together and share a meal like old friends. As a husband and a father to three daughters, I take special pride in providing a “family-style” service. I understand the unique needs of those traveling with children and strive to make every tour safe, patient, and engaging for guests of all ages.

Davit was an excellent host to us over a two day tour. He went above and beyond to show us some of the best places in Georgia, providing us useful tips along the way. He made the trip very enjoyable with his friendly personality, always accommodating all our needs, and allowing us to spend as much time as we wanted everywhere we went. He took great care of my parents who had mobility limitations, for which I am very grateful to him. I had 4 wonderful days with my friend, and as solo female travelers, we felt completely safe and happy throughout our journey. Successful tour in Georgia!

We were a group of four that was recommended by our friend to contact Davit who offers guided tours and transportation in Georgia. We had a very successful day with Davit where he picked us up in Televi, and he brought homemade wine and chacha!! It was very good. He drove us to Tbilisi and we made several stops on the way following his excellent recommendations. Davit is very friendly, speaks very good English, has very impressive knowledge of the history of Georgia and all the sights we visited. Davit is very sociable and friendly. Also very important, Davit is a safe driver! We highly recommend to get in touch with Davi. He is much inclined to plan a tour following your wishes (and of course his recommendations).
