Extend Your Adventure:

The Juta Overnight Experience

If you have more time, I highly recommend staying overnight in Kazbegi to visit Juta—one of the most remote and beautiful villages in the Caucasus.

Extended Itinerary

  • The Journey: We will drive 25km into the mountains. The final stretch is a rugged off-road track, but my vehicle is fully equipped for the challenge.
  • The Hike: From Juta, we will hike 4.5km (one way) to the crystal-clear Chauxi Lake, located at the foot of the dramatic “Georgian Dolomites.”
  • Arsha Waterfalls: On our way back to Tbilisi, we will stop to see the powerful Arsha Waterfalls.

Note: The Juta/Chauxi Lake route is available from late May to late October due to snow.
